Falling Tears

Falling down through shattered dreams
My heart torn open at the seams
So many memories, falling tears
So many hopes turned into fears
A love that's found, then soaked and drown
By falling tears without a sound
Thet're falling, falling down like rain
Trying to drown out the pain
Within my heart, within my mind
A love that I will never find

I've looked and looked and still I see
The emptiness surrounding me
Around my shattered, broken heart
I see rust and corrosion start
From teardrop rain that I have cried
That no one took the time to dry

Now I stare off in to space
My heart an empty, lonely place
And through the windows of my soul
I watch the teardropd come and go
Hoping I will someday see
A colored rainbow by the sea
The mist of teardrops fallen down
A memory of a love that drown
