I Cried Another River

I've traveled long and hard
On this old and dusty road
Wandering through a barren land
That only lonely hearts would know

I've watched skies cry in sorrow
'Til the rivers overflow
Then seen their hearts turn cold as ice
As mountain peaks turn white with snow

I cried another river
Flowing to the sea of pain
And so I pick up all the pieces
Of my broken heart again

If the sun should rise up in the sky
To dry the tears I've shed
Maybe all of the confusion
Would disperse from in my head
