Once upon a time ago
In a land not far away
Beside the clearest rivers
The unicorns would play
The sky was always sunny
The rainbow had an end
And the leprechaun guarding the pot of gold
Was the unicorn's best friend
But then, one day, a creature came
Who called himself a man
Saying that they all must leave
That this was now his land
He built his home and planted seeds
He sent the magic trees away
And soon the world came about
To what it is today
The leprechauns, they up and left
Tying their rainbows in knots
Forming circles with no ends
And packing up their pots
The unicorns just disappeared
They had no place to go
And soon pollution got so bad
That it began to snow
The fairies and the cherubs
Had all become extinct
There was but one last unicorn
The final magic link
He looked for a companion
And though he tried and tried
Without another for his mate
The unicorn all died
Now they live in just one place
Right off the astral station
It's in the fifth dimension
It's called imagination
